As long as power is applied, the unit outputs the message (12vdc).
Simple connection to Austdac Comms System.
Up to 16 seconds of voice and/or tone per unit.

12 Way Speech Unit

Features
Working voltage 12 volt dc 100mA.
Dimensions 180 mm (L) x 180 mm (W) x 70 mm (D).
LED1, relay operation and LED2 power on.
Voice messages and/or tones available for each output.
Simple connection to Austdac Comms System.
Up to 12 individual messages may be stored and played back.
Up to 75 seconds total time for all 12 messages.
Individual messages can be of variable length.
All active messages have a 5 minute repeat cycle.
Audio output drive to the Austdac Comms system.
In-built input “short circuit” detection with announcement.

In-built Compander circuit provides improved messages signal-to-noise ratio.
A microprocessor is used to manage the input detecting and audio output control.
A volume trimmer (RV1) is provided to adjust the audio output level.
Up to four 12 way units may be connected to one Austdac comms system.
Relay with two C.O. contacts for interfacing to other equipment.
