The SR-T is a purpose built training unit designed for personnel to experience the wearing of a self rescuer in a cost effective and timely way, without the expense of using a live self rescuer.

The SR-T comprises:

• A heatsink carry pouch:                                      P/N SAFE01SA.
• A set of re-usable parts:                                     P/N SAFE01 C.
• A sealed disposable KO2 chemical canister:      P/N SAFE01 CAN.

The SR-T can be assembled ready for use without tools. It simulates the wearing of a KO2 unit and responds to the effects achieved over the full duration of a self rescuer in a 10 to 15 minute trial.

Below are excerpts from actual test results of a SR-T unit. They show the performance characteristics when tested at 35 litres/minute over 30 minutes when rated duration is 10 to 15 minutes:
