• Austdac
has released its new pullswitch designed to meet harsh environments
and utilising the latest high tech material to ensure strength,
high impact
resistance, durability, and yet still maintaining its
small compact size and weight.
• The material is UV stabilised and flame retardant
(IEC 60079-0:2004).
• The pullswitch is designed with a new multipurpose
internal pcb to reduce installation time and includes a plug
and socket connection for up to three
transmitters, when used with the SILBUS signal
line systems.
• Temperature rating: -40°C to +50°C.
•

• The pullswitch uses sealed micro switches and has
been fully tested to IP66 (IEC 60529 Ed 2.1:2001).
• Same mounting centres have been maintained.
• Designed with the new safety colours in order to
promote a new level of safety to operational personnel.
• The pullswitch is available in taut or slack rope
configuration and can be fully integrated with the Austdac signal
line system and remote isolation.
• The installation of the pullswitch cable is now
simplified by providing a single cable tensioner on each pullswitch
to reduce time and allow a one man
