Austdac Pty Ltd have designed specific cables to suit system applications, taking into account the relevant parameters, inductance, capacitance, L/R ratio, and any other approval requirement necessary to ensure compliance with the standards.

The cable is central to the operation of any system, so selection of the correct parameters and type is critical. Cable that “looks similar” does not necessarily have the same parameters, capacitance etc. This can lead to system faults and possible approval issues. Where possible use manufactured system specific cables.

This is a five (5) core cable with varying size cores, specially designed to carry signal and power over long distances.
The cable is designed with heavy braiding and a hardwearing outer sheath with low capacitance. Tested to seven kilometre (7km) conveyor systems.

COMMON USE: Connection of SILBUS conveyor
systems.

Part number CON05
This is a six (6) core cable with standard cores. It has a braided sheath and a standard PVC outer sheath.

COMMON USE: Standard pullwire cable for conveyor and lighting systems.
